I find almost everything to do with university, except the actual learning itself, incredibly frustrating. This morning was my first opportunity to change one of my courses, since MAC's timetable came out at the same time that the online registration system closed for a week, so I found out that one of my courses had changed times and now clashed with another one, and I was unable to do anything about it for a week. Still, I found an awesome new course (Monsters and Magic) to replace the course I'm planning on dropping (Cultural Studies and Visual Culture), and all I have to do is a quick drop 'n add. But for some reason, the online system is saying it is full to capacity of students. It's never said this before, even during registration day, and I find it hard to believe there are more students on now than there were on registration day. They're probably all scrambling to sign up for Monsters and Magic, damn them. Oh well -- Modern Countercultures sounds pretty good too. Just not, you know, as good.

EDIT: It turns out I was over-optimistic. Every course I wanted was full or unavailable, even the ones I was really stretching with, like Intro to Mohawk and Ojibwe. I ended up just dropping the course and having four in my second term instead of five.
